On Sunday, the official Twitter account for Osamu Nishi’s Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun manga unveiled exciting news: the series will be receiving not just one, but two spinoff manga. The first one, titled Mairimashita! Iruma-kun if Episode of Mafia, cleverly incorporates a demon pun in the word “ma” for “mafia.” Artist hiromono will make its debut in this year’s October issue of Akita Shoten’s Bessatsu Shōnen Champion magazine on September 12.

The second spinoff, Mairimashita! Iruma-kun Kalego Gaiden, delves into the story of Naberius Kalego and will be launched by Nishi himself. This five-chapter manga is set to grace the pages of Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine during the winter season.

The original Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun manga, which started its journey in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in March 2017, has captivated audiences with its heartwarming narrative.

The story follows the adventures of Iruma, a kind-hearted 14-year-old boy, whose parents, driven by selfish motives, sell him to demons. However, fate takes an unexpected turn when he is adopted by a demon who treats him as his own grandson, sending him to a demon school filled with wonder and challenges.
The manga’s popularity inspired an anime adaptation that premiered in October 2019 on NHK Educational, spanning 23 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime simultaneously with its airing in Japan under the title Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, and even provided an English dub for wider accessibility.
The anime’s second season made its debut in April 2021, continuing to enthral fans with its delightful storyline. Crunchyroll once again streamed the series as it aired, including the English dub that arrived in June 2021.
