In the upcoming July 13th issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine, Yuu Saiki’s manga “Yamaguchi-kun Isn’t So Bad” (Yamaguchi-kun wa Warukunai) will make a highly anticipated comeback, marking its return after a hiatus of 13 months. This exciting announcement was unveiled in the July edition of the magazine.

The manga took a hiatus in June 2022 as the author went on maternity leave. Kodansha USA Publishing unveils the English digital release of the manga, presenting a captivating tale that enthralls readers.

Satsuki Shinohara, a shy girl preparing for her grand high school entrance, faces a potential disaster when a lewd individual on the train threatens to ruin her plans. However, her savior emerges unexpectedly—Yamaguchi-kun, the infamous “delinquent” in their class.
Despite Satsuki’s persistent efforts to connect with him, Yamaguchi-kun skillfully eludes her grasp. Undeterred by the challenge, Satsuki is determined to unveil the hidden depths of Yamaguchi-kun, proving that he transcends his unfavorable reputation.
Saiki debuted the manga in Bessatsu Friend back in 2019, with Kodansha releasing the seventh volume in June 2022. Subsequently, Kodansha USA Publishing unveiled the seventh volume in December 2022.
