Yanmar Dive's in Anime Realm with 'Miru'-An Original Agricultural Machine Company

On Tuesday, Yanmar Holdings, the renowned manufacturer of agricultural machinery, revealed their venture into the world of anime production. They are currently working on an exciting original project titled Miru (To Envision), combining the artistic expertise of their own robot designers with the captivating storytelling skills of Shigeru Morita from Studio Nue (known for Lagrange – The Flower of Rin-ne, A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives, The Island of Giant Insects). The design company btrax has been instrumental in providing valuable assistance for this ambitious endeavor.

The aforementioned visual was created by artist YKBX. Yanmar acknowledges Yanmar Holdings Inc.’s Brand Department Design Office for the robot’s design, with Yū Iguchi credited as the concept artist.

The upcoming anime is set to make a grand appearance at Anime Expo, taking place from July 1 to 4. Attendees can expect an impressive booth showcasing a captivating statue of a prominent robot from the series, alongside the anime’s captivating key visual. Furthermore, fans will be treated to an exclusive concept movie directed by the talented YKBX, with sound design by the acclaimed cubesato.

Excitement continues to build as the anime’s panel at Anime Expo promises to be a star-studded affair. Renowned figures such as Akihiro Nagaya, Chief Business Officer of Yanmar, Brandon K. Hill, CEO of btrax design company, and the brilliant artist YKBX will grace the event with their presence.
