In an exciting announcement, Crunchyroll has revealed plans to stream the anime adaptation of the popular manga “ZOM 100: Bucket List of the Dead,” crafted by Haro Aso and Kotaro Takata. The release is set for July 9th at 5:00 a.m. EDT and will be featured not only in the United States, but also in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, North Africa, and the Indian subcontinent.
The animated series will be available in Japanese with a variety of subtitles, including English, French, German, Italian, Castilian Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Hindi, Russian, and Arabic. Furthermore, fans can look forward to dubbed versions in English, French, German, Italian, Castilian Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and importantly, Hindi. Information on the specific release dates for these dubbed versions will be provided later.


Produced in collaboration with Viz Media, Shogakukan, and Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Japan, the anime will also debut on Hulu and Netflix in the United States at the designated time.
“ZOM 100: Bucket List of the Dead” revolves around the protagonist, Akira Tendo, played by Shūichirō Umeda, who uses a zombie apocalypse as a springboard to break free from his monotonous corporate life. The English version features a star-studded cast, including Zeno Robinson as Akira Tendo, Abby Trott as Shizuka Mikazuki, Xander Mobus as Kenichiro Ryuzaki, and Laura Post as Beatrix Amerhauser.

The anime, directed by Kazuki Kawagoe and brought to life by studio BUG FILMS, features an opening theme song “Song of the Dead,” by KANA-BOON and ending theme “Happiness of the Dead,” performed by Shiyui.
The manga that inspired this series debuted in Shogakukan’s Sunday GX magazine back in October 2018 and quickly rose to fame, earning a nomination for an Eisner award. Fans of the manga can also look forward to a live-action film adaptation set to debut on Netflix globally in 2023.
